The Playbook

Step one, gather your crew of kids
Step two, teach them its ok to fib
Step three, pack up their things and go
Step four, leave them in front of grocery stores
Step five, keep them stocked with goods
Step six, count the money, keeping the score

And that’s it

Don’t let people figure out what you do
For if anyone gets a clue
This is a scam, highly illegal to boot
If they sniff it out
Pack up
It’s time to move

Share the praise

Keep the momentum going strong
Reward them with certificates
For they’re keeping the lights on
While you sit in the parking lot and hide
Never to be seen
Wouldn’t want to ruin your pride

Tell me why

These babies are growing up so fast
Working young
Making money for a Dad that can’t have
A steady job
Determined to stay out of sight
The devils end is where you sit while I try

Not to cry

This is the playbook
The one where we make it rain
Money pours, it would be a shame to quit
Don’t tell me now
That what we are doing is wrong
If it was, don’t you think we’d get caught?
